ive read the book and i need to right an essay. Im debating on what to write about. I'm going to write about honor in battles but i want another topic on the women in the book. i dont know what to do though.

What do we think about the novel on a whole as compared to the man in the iron mask. I never read teh man in teh iron mask but i know how the story goes.

the information you get from internet boards is always 100% reliable, and you should put this right into your paper:

the story is really about the author's love of ass-beads!! i swear it's true!

The several women who figure significantly in the plot have roles of power and powerlessness but not necessarily because of a male dominated society. Other factors include political connection, socio-economic status, knowledge as power, willingness to undertake criminal behavior, and, of course, romantic entanglements. Whether they are looked down on or up to is thus a more complex question. You might contrasts viewpoints of moral authority vs. absolute power. Generally, the characters of the women are more serious than the mindset of our frocklisome foursome. Good luck on your paper; I think you have rich topic to mine.
