I would like say some tips about Brazil.
The first thing you will have to know about Brazil is that Brazil is a very big country, so you won't know Brazil in just one visit. Another important thing to understand is that Brazil is a great mix of people and colors like never other part in world.
Brazil is divided in five macro-regions.
NORTH, NORTHEAST, SOUTHEAST, CENTER-WEAST,SOUTH

Brazilians DON'T SPEAK SPANISH, we speak PORTUGUESE. It is easier find a Brazilian speaking English than a Brazilians speaking Spanish. But Spanish sounds like Portuguese, so... If you can't find someone to help you in English try Spanish.
BRAZIL BY REGION:
NORTH: It is Amazon place. It is very hot there, so don't need to take Winter Clothes doesn't matter when do you go. You can't visit a Florest withou a Guide. Florest can be very dangerous. Don't try to take pictures of everyone it can be a little rude.

CENTER-WEST
The best turistic atractions there are Pantanal and Planalto Central.

NORTHEAST
The most touristic region of Brazil. There are so many things to do there that I will divide in states.
BAHIA - Famous by the Carnival. It is a historical place is where Brazil was discovered by Portugueses in 1500. You will find very spices dishes and strong african culture spirit.
ALAGOAS - Beaches everywhere. Peace is everywhere. You will be more calm after go to Alagoas State.
CEAR - The capital state is Fortaleza, a big city with great urban night parties. Near to Fortaleza you will find great beaches and wonderfull water parks.
PERNAMBUCO - Recife is a big city! You will find a great urban night. And lots of historical and cultural places. Frevo and Maracatu are popular musics of Carnival in Pernambucano.
FERNANDO DE NORONHA - A group of isles in the easted part of Brazil. It is really nice place to see the nature perfections.
RIO GRANDE DO NORTE - Beaches everywhere. Nice place to go to beaches.
SOUTHEAST
Divided by States:
MINAS GERAIS - Historical and Cultural Places. You're gonna think you went back to past. Great cities dated from XVII Century.
RIO DE JANEIRO - No coments to Rio de Janeiro turist attractions. It speaks by itself. Great place to visit. But be carefull with thieves! Just don't get out your hotel with an expensive clock. Protect your things!
SAO PAULO - It is the biggest city of Brazil. The 4th in Earth. You will find that Sao Paulo is a city of Arts. You will find lots os plays and museuns. It's great for those who like Urban Night Parties.
SOUTH
It is the coldest part of Brazil. You won't need Summer clothes. The population of South is from European Imigrates. So you will find strong German and Italy influece not only in architeture but also in food.
