Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day

Ten years after the original cult classic was released, the long-awaited sequel hits theaters, fittingly on All Saint's Day.

Directed again by Troy Duffy, the film picks up the thread of bloody vengeance explored in the original and much of the tight-knit cast is around to reprise their roles. Sean Patrick Flannery and Norman Reedus return as the McManus brothers, and Billy Connolly is back as their father 'Il Duce.' Filling the void left by Willem Dafoe is Dexter star Julie Benz, who plays a tough FBI agent. Clifton Collins also joins the cast as a newly-recruited Saint.

Expect one-liners, Catholic imagery and plenty of gratuitous violence... just what Saints fans are looking for.

true but i think they'll pull it off just fine.

My bf is gonna flip when he hears this! He has watched that movie like a 100 times. It does suck that Dafoe isn't gonna be in it, he was sooo hilarious.

The first one was great, don't know if it needs a sequel thou.

Been waiting for this for what seems like forever. I'm sure it's going to be a great movie.

wait, i heard that boondock saints 2 is coming out on dvd only. is it coming out in theatres? strange how they're making a 2nd one tho.

I am really excited. I'm just pissed that its only 65 theaters to start; who knows how long to get to the back woods around here?
