I think that's her point. Her book is trying to keep good girls away from the influences of satan that hang out around colleges, meaning you. Oh and rational thought and thinking for yourself and self-discovery and divergent cultural points of view. That's the trouble with educating our women. When they get all that learnin' in their heads they're apt to start thinking for themselves and turn from Jesus. We can't have that. God can't have it either. He said so.
