I only noticed this yesterday, and it so appears that not many others have noticed either!



On the 7th, MySpace made some changes to their base coding. Due to the changes, the codes to hide the bottom links now causes the advertisements to be hidden! This is not at all good since hiding the ad, will result in account deletion!!



Thankfully, some wise fellow has found and provided an updated set of coding that hides the bottom links and not the advertising. Please, though, read carefully.

But if you could explain to me why I am not allowed to claim credit for what I put effort into testing and discovering, without having my posts deleted, I would appreciate it.



Since I have an explanation of the problem, I published before this thread existed, and had made prior attempts to make this a sticky thread, is it not fair that I should be able to provide a link to my own page in this thread?

I gave out the cause and solution, in this forum, multiple times, in May.

My solution is not the same one you have this thread linked to.



It is as if all my efforts were quickly buried and Someone else gets the credit and the free advertising for their web page in a sticky thread.



Does anyone else get why this causes me frustration? I usually try to be mature and follow the rules.



This time I am posting as myself.
