Greetings my friends and enemies,
Today we shall discuss -- dreams.
If you're not willing to be open minded, get out. I don't need "Just no." Please state your theories with an explanation. After all, that's what a theory is; a plausible explanation.
Something's been bothering me lately from a dream I had, and I wanted to discuss the possibilities as to what dreams mean.
Now, I have heard 023940294 possibilities for dreams. I can rule one out for a different scientifical answer, which I'll explain in a moment. Some are just... complicated.
Let's start with the easiest one to decipher:
You have a dream. You get injured. You wake up. You're wounded / bruised in the same area as the wound in your dream.
This one is not one of the types of dreams I would consider weird. Your body went through a traumatic event in your subconscious, thus, your nervous system follows through with its natural procedures, and attempts to heal a wound that does not even exist. Your brain thinks it exists -- but the reality is -- you were dreaming. The bruise / wound you may feel (and sometimes, it will be bad enough to be visible to the eye) is a result of your nervous system trying to perform a function under circumstances it shouldn't be acting under. You can't heal what isn't wounded, and so, this creates an entirely new wound. It's like taking medicine when you're not sick. Eventually -- you're get sick.
Now -- here is where it is complicated...
You have a dream. You wake up. You think it's just another dreams. You meet a friend. They tell you about their dream. The two of your start filling the blanks, as it was the exact same dream.
Now -- THIS... classifies for a W.T.F..
Has anyone ever had this? Sometimes, I feel like this crap, but other times, I feel like it is possible. After all -- a lot of people have premonitions in their dreams. So we can't rule this out as being a complete lie. But what would a dream like this mean? Even more confusing -- some have stated that this happened to them while both dreamers were not sleeping within the same period of time. One would be awake and the other would be sleeping, having the dream. Then, comes nightfall or the next day, even, it becomes vice versa.
Another mystery is premonition:
How could the Human mind be capable of predicting future disasters? How could our subconscious be capable of forewarning us of events to come? This leads me to question what our subconscious really is. Are we all subconsciously connected somehow, and we don't know it? That would explain how we can only predict HUMAN RELATED disasters, and NOT natural disasters. That would also explain how people can have the exact same dream as another person.
Has anyone ever played a video game called Xenosaga 3? In it, people who reject others, as well as the world, eventually transform into Gnosis; monsters that seek only to destroy Humans. As well, it was believed in the story that when people die, their subconscious returns to the Unus Mundus Network (U.M.N.). "Why aren't the characters' subconsciousness present in the U.M.N. as they are alive?", one might ask. Well, because Humans reject each other, the odds of finding a living subconsciousness in the U.M.N. is rare, considering everybody is always at hate or war with so many others, they isolate themselves, mentally, from everyone, thus resulting in fewer people being capable to link to the U.M.N. while they are alive.
At first thought, this doesn't seem relevent -- but when you think about it open mindedly, it is not improbable. Not just because dreams are currently an infinite possibility since we do not understand them, but because this explanation of a collective subconsciousness casing all of our subconsciousness is a plausible explanation as to how we can dream of future disasters caused by other humans.
All of you who have had premonition dreams -- think to yourselves... Was the premonition regarding a disaster related to Humans alone? Or was it something like a tidal wave hitting your house, knocking down your door as you watch Pink Panther?
Same thing with those of you that have had dreams that others have also had. Are you the kind of person that rejects this world, its people, its ways? -- or are you the kind of person that simply accepts life as is and moves on?
