Trash them w/o opening! Block the profiles! Set your status to "Away" for a day or so! Put a bulletin out and inform friends to use it to respond to in order to message you to bypass the block!

Strangely enough, I was hit with four of them this morning. Otherwise, I rarely get them anymore. The Subject line is, re: hi.

I opened it and clicked on the spam link.

I've never needed to mis-use the Away feature in that manner.

Ok Mr. "mis-use" The Away Feature, where in the ToU is it stated that it is a misuse of the system to cut down on Spammers, Bots, and General Buttheads?

    Are you sick of spam?

    Have you been hacked?

Profile Protector was created to help Tom tackle spammers and hackers. It works like a firewall blocking outgoing browser requests to known spammers and hackers.

When you install Profile Protector you are protected instantly against the latest known threats.

Profile Protector runs in your system tray and auto updates so you can surf stress free. You can also disable it if needed.

It cannot stop spammers and hackers from posting comments and messages but it can block the links they post.

Profile Protector spend hours everyday searching MySpace for spammers and hackers. In most cases they can block them long before MySpace close them down.

They also have several other accounts with over 170k friends that act as traps for spammers and hackers.

MySpace are working hard on ways to filter out spam and eliminate hackers but the spammers and hackers just create new profiles and websites.

As a user of MySpace its also your own responsibilty to ensure the safety of yourself and of your profile.

Profile Protector works hard to help you do that.
