On my Profile I have a Picture of Q-bert from the WMC in Miami, Fl. I meet him in person and he was very down to earth. Q-bert was also using the New Vestax QFO-LE turntable in his Set you can see it in the picture that I took. It was sick everybody had no clue what he was doing. Most of the crowd thought he was using the Pitch controler not a crossfader. Can you beleave that he made a turntable with a mixer built in it. It has like 3 crossfaders on it. If that's not a Musical instrument then I don't know what is. With Q-bert using just one record on the QFO-LE it sure sounded like Three at once. What's Phatt is all the beat's he was making sounded like sick Electro beat's. There's not a dj's in the world that has skills like Q-bert. Well enjoy the Pic www.myspace.com/73932611

Plenty of turntablists have made albums, the problem is there just not that good. The only guy who could pull off turntablists albums was Kid Koala. Who makes damm fine albums at that.

Dj = Disc Jockey. Nowhere does it say one must know how to do a crab scratch.

I think thats cool too, but I still believe beatmixing is djing, and so is turntablism. Adding the two together is extra cool. That said sometimes I like a nice long, smooth transparent mix. It suits some styles well.
