A beautiful snowdrop would be the most difficult one, I believe.

All the others have flamboyant colours and forms to nurture artists' ambitions.

Simplicity however is such an evasive thing.

No wonder, mostly youngsters have the guts to deal with it :)

What flowers do you have available to you? Chose from them.

columbines or dahlia's are my favorite flowers, daisies and irises are the easiest to draw. Not much dimension in those. Roses and orchids are a bitch because they have so much dimension and detail.

nuthin' really, i just didn't observe the age of the poster before i posted it.

not my story but, this guy talked about study the flowers in his yard for a painting. one day one of the flowers made a popping sound. he said he never knew that could happen. niether did i. i kinda like flowers more after that.



i agree with "what ever flowers around you." nothing better than something you can experience in person. i enjoyed batemans work more than ever once i saw the places he painted.
