Could you please find any mention of "and these three are one." in any of the early Greek manuscripts.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19);
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all” (2 Corinthians 13:14)
"i and the father are one" (John 10:30)
The trinity doctrine was not expressed until the 4th century. It is accepted by most Christians today.
The idea is that God is one and all connected to him are one.
The Father Son and Holy Spirit are the 3 divine offices of God. As creator, savior and counsellor The water blood and Spirit.
Father
The Creator is all he exists beyond the creation (all that is) and the Creation is within his domain - the creation does not exist beyond him
Son
The savior who was with God at the beginning - all things were created through him (the word 'logos') the promise of God and the fulfillment of that promse. Blood brother and freind of man. The representative mediator between God and man - in the form of flesh and blood.
Holy Spirit
dwell within the heart of man - a taste of things to come - spiritual connection to God - counsellor, guide.
These are all God, directly connected to God. Three offices of one God almighty.
