SO, Kristin Veitch's finally doing her
Annual Save One Show Campaign and this year, there are so many great shows that are in danger of being cancelled. Here's the list:
30 Rock
The Class
Close to Home
Crossing Jordan
Friday Night Lights
Gilmore Girls
How I Met Your Mother
Jericho
Medium
The Nine
One Tree Hill
Scrubs
Six Degrees
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
Supernatural
Veronica Mars
What About Brian
Some shows are more likely of being cut that others (in which Kristin elaborates on her new post), but all have good chances of getting axed by the evil network executives (the very executives that have cancelled shows like Cupid, Arrested Development, every Andy Richter show ever made, every Donald Logue show ever made, etc., etc..).
Again, the SOS campaign has an incredible track record, successfully resurrecting the five out of six shows that have won this campaign in the past. And, there's no doubt the campaign has much or all to do with the new season orders of otherwise doomed shows.
If you are a fan of any of the aforementioned shows, please vote! Voting ends April 6th and the winner will be announced April 13th.
Personally, I'm torn between Six Degrees, What About Brian, and Veronica Mars.
I would add Scrubs and The Nine on there but I think Scrubs, if it doesn't get picked up by NBC and if Bill Lawrence (the show's creator) doesn't decide to end it, the show's got a guaranteed home on ABC. And as for The Nine - I doubt there's any saving that show anymore. Especially considering a lot of the cast has found other jobs.
