this movie (mini series) is the best. A lot of British actors in this movie. My favorite actor in this movie is the one who plays George Luz (funny son of a bitch).

I'm a big fan of Dale Dye. Jimmy Fallon is in one of the episodes. I couldn't believe it!

It was originally an HBO mini series back in 2001. Then as years past on, shown on tv networks.

Have any of you read the book? Stephen Ambrose is (was, I should say) an amazing writer. I never enjoyed history until I started reading his stuff. What stunned me about the HBO series is how accurate it was. 99% of it came straight from the book, which came mostly from first-person interviews.

It is hands-down my favorite war "movie" ever. I could watch it every day. When History Channel airs a marathon, everything in my house comes to a grinding halt!

I read his book. A good read. Also read "Beyond Band of Brothers" by Major Dick Winters and Colonel Cole Kingseed, "Biggest Brother" by Larry Alexander, and Parachute Infantry" by (Private?) David Webster.
