LaDainian Tomlinson's Father Killed in Car Crash Near Waco

Oliver Tomlinson, the father of San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson was killed in a traffic accident Friday afternoon at the intersection of FM 2643 and FM 434 near the town of Asa east of Waco. A DPS Trooper identified the fatality as Oliver Tomlinson, the father of San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson. LT's brother was injured in the crash.

If it were football season, I would like to think he'd take out the anger on the football field and just run over everyone more than what he does. Losing a parent does suck, although I don't know what it feels like yet, but I have had two grandparents die since I was 13. Experiencing any kind of death is hard. LT, if you read the sports forum, my heart goes out to ya man.

I lost my father 3 years ago and its one of if not the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. My prayers go out to LT. Its something that you never really are able to get over. It sucks.

My father died suddenly in an accident two years ago and it was the worst thing I have ever been through emotionally. I feel his pain and wish him and his family my heart felt condolences.
