I feel the sport has finally passed by integrity. There is no integrity to the sport.

It took me all this time after the race to get to expressing myself on forums because I spent the previous hour canceling every subscription based on NASCAR. Getting rid of nascar.com track pass.

The sport is rigged. Until they come out and hand the "rule book" over for the fans to view it just shows itself as a rigged sport.

DEI had a good day, until the end, when Martin Truex Jr and Dale Earnhardt Jr were caught up in the same wreck, leaving Truex Jr [who recieved five bonus points]29th, and Dale Earnhardt Jr 32nd. Paul Menard failed to qualify for the big race, sending him home early. Jr who ran decent all day long was clearly upset, but in his interview showed great maturity and respect for NASCAR, its drivers, and fans alike.

I can't even describe how absolutely upset I was when I saw Dale Jr. involved in the crash.

    And then BOOM, Truex also.

    There goes D.E.I.

It truely is a shame. Earnhardt had an up and down day, fell back in the pack to around 20th at one pont and time, but worked his way back up to the front where he was for most of the day.

But Truex was just impressive, he blew my mind. He was up at the front the entire time, he really made a statement today, telling us he's not just secind tier behind Jr., the poster boy of DEI. He's here to race and to try and win and be an integral part to DEI. Both DEI drivers deserve far better than what happened today, but what are you gonna do? That's NASCAR I guess. I still fully expect Jr. to make the chase for the Nextel Cup. And I think we can expect great things from Truex this year.

The Tony Stewart wreck put a smile on my face.

They should have thrown the flag. Martin should have won. They really need to revamp the rules. What the fuck???

Anyone know what NASCAR's explanation for not throwing the caution flag was??

I'm just curious. I have nothing against Kevin Harvick, I just thought they should have thrown the caution flag. These rules really need re-vamping -- again.

What they need is called "text" These rules do not exist. There is no official rule book. One race they claim to have a caution flag rule. However they need not enforce it because it's not actually written down. It is a farce.
