Looking and aiming for a fresh perspective and spirituality in yoga, music, activism, daily living?
We have established a regular and weekly gathering at our yoga studio. Our classes aim to empower all those interested in human <myspace>right</myspace>s and a healthy community and becomes a creative space and opportunity to bridge all interested in protecting their freedoms and sacred subcultures: people of all ages under one practice; non discriminating practice. We are joining with people of all ages: b-boys, skateboarders, housewives, mystics, and all of the above. We have been aiming for a practice that is a santana of movement from the inside out, a collective force to protect and enjoy nature. It is an experience where you lose what you thought was yourself to discover your non-self and collective truth-process.
As activists we are determined to start making a difference, no matter how minute, and if only by communication, to establish guided efforts and opportunities to further and share practices, missing knowledge and art. And we often do this in the name and remembrance of those beliefs we wish to embody.
We will have upcoming events and benefits supporting different causes, collectives, truth movements, groups, record labels and independent artists.
As a music label, Namasteezy Records will also join the fun by bringing in special musical guests in body or vinyl, for us to experience their conscious beats, as we move our limbs and / or move our minds.

Namasteezy Records and Bonsai Yoga have recently merged under one roof of consciousness and production. We have been actively spinning through the West Coast/ NW, talking to people, checking out the local hip hop, yoga, and activist scenes in action. Part of our function is to differentiate the true from the false and those working for corporate purposes, as opposed to those for future generations of children. We are working with a fellow activist friend in Santa Barbara, creating an activist commentary cd, called Key Truth In Artistry. Have you requested a copy?
We are also currently introducing and expanding the new website. Please take a moment and scope it out. You will find links to a variety of different interests; including, music samples, activism writings, yoga info, and art talk.
How have we as a world culture changed as people since the Industrial revolution? Before we lived with handmade crafts such as handspun cloth and wheel thrown pots. How do factory made objects affect our lives and spirituality? Handmade objects give life, vibration, and beauty into our lives. Factory made objects are dead and dehumanized. Does that affect our consciousness and cause us to think in dehuman ways? These are ideas that most people never consider, so far removed is this ancient culture. Come discuss your ideas with us on our message board. Our Book club will also address these issues with different ranging books; such as The Unknown Craftsman by Soetsu Yanagi and readings about Japanese Tea Ceremony.
