    Yep...

    Slashdot

    Dreamcast-scene.com

The last 3 games for Dreamcast to be released, then it is officially (again) dead.

After these games are released (in Japan only from what i read), Sega is stopping their GDRom manufacturing lines.

So no more games officially after February by the looks of it.

You can write to petition against it if you want to, but i'm not sure it will work to be honest.

    Letter is here!

You know, I had no idea they still made DC games. I thought they quit making them in '04. I know some companies were continuing to make games in Japan until then, I didn't know some still were. When you think about it, the Japanese never really got cheated. They got DC games for years, GOOD games! I imported a few using ebay...I think I may need some more. I supported you Sega! :D

I was a hardcore Sega supporter, but all I have left is Virtua Fighter...

Still got ours (me and big brother got it together), not played it in awhile though.

It kinda sucked bad when it just suddenly "died" like that.

I'm kinda shocked at how "active" it is over in Japan.

I knew there was still sales and stuff, but god i never knew it was as active as it is.

If they do stop GDRom production, i wonder if they would allow developers to use CDs (since apparently it can read, although some models are not able to, piracy etc)

Does mean less space though, and piracy comes up again. meh
