And taking your line of reasoning further, Jesus could have written a message for people of each century to prove that he was God.

In the year 1039 there will be a volcanic eruption that covers pompei.

In 1644 a man named John Guttenberg will publish the printing press.

In the year 1902 the Wright Brothers will invent a flying machine.

ect. It could have been very easy for Jesus to prove throughout history who he was.

    I wonder why he didn't?

Perhaps, the afterlife could benefit in having a permanent underclass of people who deserve to be a permanent underclass.

    Seems fair to me.

No, Ian, and you're becoming tiresome. I'm not Catholic, but what some commentator said in 1895 is not what "the pope claims".

If you'd actually read the Catechism of the Catholic Church, you would know that there is no such doctrinal dilemma for Catholics--it makes no such claim. I have a copy right here, and will be happy to follow up if you have a page number.

Further, you really need to grasp the notion of theosis at some point.

Yes, you are answering him correctly.

Islam HAS insisted that Allah is for real.

In every generation of Islam, Allah IS = The Book.

    That Koran is visible.

As are the mullah police, who walk the streets and seize those who violate Sharia.

God CAN make you be good...

But, will you ONLY fear this God?

Will you still long for that liberal life style?

Will you really hate one master, and wish to serve the other?

    See?

    American Life Style:

    1) Promoting teen sex which these days is running rampant.

    2) 14 and 15 year old daughters who perform oral sex.

    3) Oral sex, it's not sex: President Clinton

    4) Socialism and idleness.

    5) High taxes on the responsible citizen

    6) Redistribution of workingman's wealth to the non-productive

    7) Cultural mentality of anything goes hedonism

    8) Gutting law enforcement

    9) Gutting the military

    10) Decimating intelligence agencies

    11) Legalizing drugs

    12) Promoting teenage sex and immorality

    13) Promoting pornography

    14) Promoting same sex marriage

    15) Promoting matriarchy through radical feminism

    16) acking courts for partial birth abortion

    17) Attack the Pledge of Allegiance

    19) Due-process rights for Al-Qaeda terrorists

    20) Support open borders
