cocoa, flour, butter- use butter not margerine or lard this will maek them MOIST, sugar, egg
1.rub suar and butter together (about same quantity of each)
2.rub in cocoa eqaul to quater of mixture
3.add egg and mix thouroughrly
4. double up with flour, sifting and folding, until brownies can be shaped
5. shape into cuboids and cook for 20-30 minutes
n.b. you can add nuts or biscuit or fruit if you dont want them to be boring
this mix can be stodgy so sift flour carefully
