ROFL...If you're happy about the Pistons beating an injury marred team by 2 points even though the other team still had a chance to win, you're kinda pathetic. Why would you hope Shaq is out all year, because you know the Pistons wouldn't have beat us if he was here? Thats the difference between us...I like for the Heat to play teams with both teams at 100%. Thats the only way to prove who's better. D Wade choked? How many clutch shots has he made? The guy is human, i know he's good...this may come as a shock, but he can ocassionally miss a shot...it happens. Don't get too excited you douchebag. I guess now that your Lakers are actually winning and Kobe is starting to score your excited so you come to talk. However, let me remind you, Did Kobe or Shaq win a championship first? Wade did something Kobe could never do...He won MVP of the finals...Come back to talk about Wade when Kobe has a finals MVP.

Shaq also did something Kobe could never do: win Finals MVP three years in a row (hell, even once would be more), or ANY MVP award for that matter.

Heat are very overrated, it don't surprise me that they having a slow start. Heat should of never even made it the Finals as the steelers should of never won the super bowl. 05 & 06 was a very sad year in sports.

the heat got hot at the right time last year (hahaha what I just wrote). The pistons were clearly a better team all season just couldn't get it done when it couldn't but Miami is an aging team and I look for Detroit to get over them this year.

The Heat did gel at the right time, you're right about that. However, I don't necessarily think the Pistons were the best team all season. I'm not saying that because I despise them, but it's just my opinion. The Pistons were the healthiest team all year. They had a great starting 5 that played every game but 3 I think and they did great. However, when you look at the Heat. This is just to prove a point, not saying this would have happened.

When they had their top 8 players they went 29-6. that's a 5 to 1 Win Loss Ratio. So lets say they kept pace, at 70 games they would have had a 58-12 record. At 82 games they would have had a 68-14 record. The point i'm trying to prove with saying that is had the Heat been healthy theres a good chance they would have had best record in the East. Again, i generally don't like to use what if or circumstantial arguments, but i'm just trying to prove a point.

PS...I know i'm not very good at explaining myself, if you don't understand what i'm trying to say i'll try to rephrase.

You have to keep in mind as well that the Heat had a lot of new faces to figure out roles for. Sometimes it takes a half season or more to figure that out, but Pat Riley did just that at the very right moment. Heat absolutely deserved that title and D-Wade had one of the most clutch performances I've ever seen espicially being down 2 games to the Mavs.

To add to what I just said, I dont see Isaih Thomas doing anything like that with the Knicks this year. I really hate him as a GM/coach.

I agree, being a Piston fan myself, i think you can never really prove anything without Shaq with the Heat. I mean the guy puts up 20 and 10. And wishing for his season to end is just immature. Shaq is one of the legends, and the Heat and the Pistons have a very good rivalry going on. It's just one game, and both teams are missing their Centers (though Ben would never come back), so we can't really know for sure who's better as of right now. Dwayne may have missed that shot...but i agree, his human, but he is still one of the best player in the league...my only regret is the Pistons should have drafted him instead of Darcko...oh well.
