    It seems that every thread started about one school or another ends up being about Ohio state or even worse michigan football. I love college football, all of it, I wait all year long for this converstaion. But If i hear about how cool Mich is one more time it'll be to soon. For the most part, not all, but, Big ten fans are too biased to even have an itelligent converstaion with.

    That said here are my picks for the weekend. Please feel free to comment on them and let me know your thoughts or predictions.

    Houston -4.5

    Rutgers +10

    OU -3.5

    Hawaii -7 (big play)

    Anything else or other games let me know the rest i consider too close for comfort.

    And the previous 2-3 years it was the Big 12. And every year, the SEC has their fair share of fans touting the greatness that is the SEC. And the Pac 10 fans complain about lack of respect.

    It happens every year...get used to it.

    From my standpoint, you are wrong. I'm willing to admit when the Big Ten is having a bad year and I don't think that we are the most amazing conference. In fact:

    Michigan-wins on average over 9 games a year

    OSU-wins about the same

    PSU-has been maybe the biggest disappointment in the Big 10 since it was added. Says something about the competition of the Big Ten

    Wisc-never repsected but wins majority of bowl games and OOC games, can rarely get over the Mich/OSU hump, new coach

    Iowa-where do you start?

    NW-new coach

    Ind-equivalent to a Vandy, NC State, Washington

    etc.....

    I have always respected the SEC and think that they usually are the toughest conference, but not this year. There are no teams that represent a national caliber team to me this year. Florida, being your best-could still end up with two losses. When an undefeated team comes out of the SEC, they are respected to the utmost.

    Pac-10 dominated by USC. Big 12 looks the most similiar to the Big 10.

    Ohio State=Texas

    Michigan=Oklahoma

    Wisconsin=Nebraska

    We are allowed to be biased this year because we have the two best teams in college football and you will see that in the final standings of the season.

    Im not saying you guys dont have the best football teams in the nation in my opinion I would kinda like to see a Mich vs OSU again, thats beside the point.

    Im tired of worrying about misspelling words and being called stupid.

    Phrases like

    " MIchigan is awesome and everybody else sucks"

    " I heard there might be another game on saturday, but who cares? Osu plays"

    " Hey did you hear weve got the greatest football team ever?"

    shit like that.

    You're comparing Wisconsin as a program to Nebraska? Sorry buddy, but Wisconsin coudn't sniff the jock strap of Nebraska... Go ask former NU alumni Barry Alvarez.

    Michigan = Nebraska or Texas

    Ohio State = Oklahoma

    Wisconsin = Colorado

    How can you compare programs and only use one year, that doesn't make sence...

    If you are then fine, but this is one of the best years Wisconsin's program has ever had, and considering their schedule this year... it's kinda pathetic. Take out '98, and what has this program ever accomplished? not much... Has Wisconsin ever won a NC? Maybe I should have said K-St.
