We are looking for an experienced Line Producer, Producer's Assistant, and Runner beginning July 24th, 2006. You will be working closely with the Director and Producers in development and pre-production for an independent feature film shooting this fall in Bucharest, Romania. The following positions will be working exclusively in London. Interviews will begin next week.



1) Line Producer - 3+ years experience as a Line Producer and/or UPM. Responsibilities include: Budgeting and scheduling, Planning and coordination for the shoot, Develop, assess and maintain relationships with vendors, Equipment deals and transport, Disbursements, Review of CV's and recommendation of potential crew, Supervise spending and successfully work within budget constraints, Work with accounting/accountant to process payroll, maintain a general ledger, Supervise all aspects of pre-production. Bi-lingual English/Romanian helpful but not required.



Length of employment: 3 weeks

Salary: £650 per week



2) Producer's Assistant - 2+ years experience required. Responsibilities include: Assist Line Producer in responsibilities described above; Scheduling meetings for Director and Producers; Coordinate, create and distribute cast, crew and vendor contact lists; Office Management, Clerical Duties - Busy phones, filing, faxing, internet, correspondence; Travel Movement for Director, Producers, Department Heads and Cast; Collate location scouting details; Research insurance and equipment quotes and availability; Basic Bookkeeping - Petty Cash Coordination and filing of Corporate and Government paperwork. Must be at least 21 with a car and clean driver's license. Bi-lingual English/Romanian helpful but not required.



Length of employment: 6 weeks

Salary: £400 per week





3) Runner - Assist the Line Producer and Producer's assistant; Running Duties; General filing; Booking couriers and preparing packages; Photocopying/Typing/Scanning/Faxing; Answering phone. Must be at least 21 with a car and clean driver's license.



Length of employment: 10 days

Salary: £60 per day

In case you haven't already thought of it, you'd better hire some good security. You're going to need to nail your equipment down, tie it off, duct tape the whole thing, and get someone beefy to sit on it if you don't want it stolen.



Bucharest is kinda rough...
