I don't get down too much on the southern rap scene. I saw Chamillionaire at a three 6 show and he put it down, so I threw him on the list. But Mike Jones is probably my least favorite rapper in the game at all. Oh and I could care less that he worked at Babies R Us, most rappers out are acting. But Kanye is a terrible rapper.
As for the South Africa diamond thing. It really isn't nearly as bad as you think. You should see the other countries in Africa with gemstone/diamond mining (including Sierra Leone). South Africa is a Western style country, they have minimum wages and safety regulations and shit. But countries like Tanzania and Sierra Leone are cut-throat and damn near all black. They have no equipment, their "mines" are holes about 2-3 feet wide with bamboo poles to try and keep the dirt from caving in on them. If you're wondering how I know this, I work in the jewelry business and I need to know all that shit for my certifications
