It's True = we can get authentic food from ANY nation in this country = we're very lucky that way Sure, but american authentic is not the same as getting it in France or Germany. I have been to Europe (Britian, France, Germany), and the food there is amazing (well not so much in britian...just good roasts there). France had amazing pizza and some delicous wine, and germany had an amazing black forest cherry cake and great schnitzel. Basically all the food there was primo, and most of it was much better than anything you can get over here.

Sure, but american authentic is not the same as getting it in France or Germany. ... LOL :o) true but I'm sure that's due more to the fact of WHERE you're eating and not WHAT you're eating :o) I bet even McDonalds shit food tastes better on a beach in Jamaica then it does on Main Street USA :o)

It would have to be any hawker stand in Asia. For only £1/£2 you can get some of the most delicious food you can imagine, rice and curry, fruit pancakes, fried noodles or rice, meat, veggies, fish, sweets....... the list is endless, take me back!!!

uhhh they have the best breads and desserts! I had the best chocolate mousse in France. it was heavenly. Without a doubt the best dessert I've ever had, and it was just at some restaurant on the corner by my hotel. nothing fancy, just a small place.
